Hizo Color Afuera!

Well hello there wonderful people in normal life!!!

So this last week was really warm! Like crazy warm, I don't think I have been so warm in my life! Ha ha. So last Monday we went to Sioux City right? It was way fun. We played basketball, and at night Elder McClain and I went on exchanges. We walked around for 3 hours, and no one would talk to us. That part was dumb. But we probably walked like 6 miles. We had a really fun time! I was sore for the next three days, because my muscles weren't used to walking around and of course basketball. I then came to the conclusion that I am fat and need to work out once again! So I am. I am doing cardio twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. So by Summer, I should be super skinny! I hope. I would enjoy that a lot. Then I could REALLY do as the word of wisdom directs and "Run and not be weary" so that was good! The conference the next day was good. I was kind of bored, to be honest. It’s ok though. I guess it’s all for the new missionaries who need to learn things!

The WORK: Is going super great. Wally will be baptized on the 12th he talks about it every time we see him. We are still in the planning phase for where in the Lake we are going to do it. But it will work out! I have faith. It will be cold, but good. Michael and Nicole will be baptized one week later. Michelle(the mom) wants them to get baptized a week later so they know exactly what they are doing! So we are really happy for this family. They are just cruising along nice and happy. I was really happy to see, on Sunday, that Wally and Michelle went to the branch president to pay tithing. It built my testimony to see them, just after one week of being taught the law of tithing. They are doing so. . . . WOW!!! They will also be getting married on Wednesday. So that should be way tight, Elder Friddle and I will be the witnesses slash wedding crashers.  But I am so happy to see how far they have progressed since December! It’s awesome! The Arreola's are doing well, they didn't come to church on Sunday because they had to go to Omaha for something. But they are reading together as a family and are doing great. We texted Lulu a couple times this week to give her some scriptures, and she says she is really liking it. So we are doing real well in Storm Lake - just loving the people just as the Savior would and trying to be like Him the best we can!

Last night we went to a General Priesthood meeting. We took Wally as well. And I was a little bit worried that something might confuse him or what not. And the subject was missionary work. So I was like, “Uh oh....this could be weird.” But it turned out to be a very spiritual meeting. A lot of the members of our branch came up to us and said, we want to come out with you guys more. can we? So that was way good. Missionary work will make you the happiest, so anyone back at home who has a missionary opportunity, take it!!! You will have joy and happiness after you do so. Even if it’s just, “hey visit mormon.org,” or “hey, I am a member of this church. You should come.” No matter what. We need to continue on in the work of our Lord. I honestly know this to be true because it has changed my life, and I know it will change yours! By the way family, have any of you done my Christmas challenge? I hope so!!! If not, you better get on it. You have until May!

So I can't believe it’s February!!! Holy cow. It seems like yesterday I was in the MTC and seeing all my buds at the Temple. This is way weird how fast this is going, I don't want it to go so fast. Maybe just a little bit slower! Not that I don't want to see ya'll, but it’s just great to be out here. I can't explain it. If you have served a mission, you know, if you are going to serve a mission, you will know. I love it so much here right now, I know that I have been brought up in the church for a reason, and I can see why we constantly need the help of the Lord in our lives. Without Him, we are nothing. When you are in high school and what not, you take things for granted a lot. I am glad that I learned though. I learned what I really need in this life. And I am so happy to be giving that to all the people of this mission. I love you all and I miss ya just as much. But I hope you have a wonderful testimony building week just as I do. I pray for you and your success and hope that you feel the love of the Savior in your lives! SMILE ALWAYS!!!! Love ya’ll!!!!

Con amor y carino!!!

El Elder Bradley Rigby
